Filmgoers all over the world are waiting with bated breath to see Shahrukh Khan on the big screens. Yes, we’ve seen him in bits and pieces in Rocketry: The Nambi Effect and Brahmastra, but is this enough? It’s been 4 years since SRK Zero saw the debacle and decided to take a break. But he is finally coming back with Pathan, Dunki and Jawan. Scroll down for all the details.
As many know, Zero had a thunderous start at the box office but turned out to be a colossal flop. While the star cast of SRK, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif was a huge flop at the ticket windows, its plot took a major turn especially in the second half. As it is, we can’t wait for his comeback film Pathan, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in pivotal roles.
Yesterday, Shah Rukh Khan graced the 41st edition of Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) 2022 at the Expo Center in Sharjah, Sharjah, UAE. The superstar was honored with the Global Icon of Cinema and Cultural Narrative Award and also spoke to journalist Faye D’Souza there.
Asked if he is nervous about his upcoming releases, Shahrukh Khan said, “I don’t need to worry, they will all be super hits.” He further explained why his statement was not ‘arrogant’. “I go to sleep, I wake up and it’s the same belief that makes me, 57, do stunts and work 18 hours a day. If I don’t believe I’m making a product that a lot of people will love, I can’t do it. So. This is not an arrogant statement, which I like to believe. ‘Look, I’ve prepared my best, I’ve done my best, I’m going to pass with flying colors’ is a childlike belief.
Shah Rukh Khan says that he has always had confidence since childhood. “I remember passing a maths test. I did very well and as a result I got 3 out of 100. But I thought I did really well. Shah Rukh talks about the internal uncertainty surrounding the film’s success. He said, “Sometimes it happens with movies too. I do zero. Sometimes my efforts come to the fore and there is Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,” added the actor.
We are very excited for Pathan, Dunki and Jawan. how about you?
